Saint Paul Catholic School is a vibrant community that engages
not only in learning, but in a variety of life-enriching activities
including athletics, extracurriculars, religion, and service.
Our policies and programs help foster inclusion, kindness, respect
for ourselves and others, and school pride-all of which culminate
in a family-like environment that thrives on campus.
school participates in the Bucket Filler Program. Inspired
by the book "Have you Filled Your Bucket Today?"
by Carol McCloud, the program teaches children how easy and rewarding
it is to express kindness, appreciation and love on a daily basis.
The bucket filling concept is a simple one: We all carry an invisible
bucket that holds our good thoughts and feelings. When our bucket
is full, we feel happy; when our bucket is empty, we feel sad.
We can fill another's bucket when we do and say things that are
kind, caring, and respectful. We can help to empty someone's bucket
by mean, unkind, or disrespectful behavior. What is so wonderful
about the concept of bucket filling is that even the youngest
child can understand that actions and words can either fill a
bucket or dip into it.
also have a mentoring program on campus called Family Friday
that provides a forum for students to build relationships with
students in different grade levels. Each student is assigned to
a family which consists of a staff member and one student from
each grade. The older students take on a mentoring role within
the group. On Family Fridays, families wear their team t-shirts
and sit together at Mass. Families also participate in monthly
group activities such as service projects, competitions and parties.
Our Family Friday program helps develop leadership skills, cooperation
and friendships that span different grades to strengthen our school
community. Did we mention our families have a lot of fun?
Saint Paul, our students have Panther pride! On the first
Monday of each month, students can show their school spirit by
wearing spirit wear which is sold through the school office. We
also host an Annual Spirit Run.
featured after-school activity is chaperoned dances that
enable our middle school students to develop their social skills
with peers outside of the classroom. These dances are a huge hit
among students in grades six through eight.
