President: The School Board President presides over all regular and special meetings of the Board and establishes the meeting agenda. Additionally, in conjunction with the Principal, Pastor, and Treasurer, develops the annual school budget and presents it to the SAC for approval. Consultative assistance and regular communication with other SAC members throughout the year is required to ensure cohesiveness.
Admission and Retention: Admission/Retention Chairperson assists the Principal in the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of programs necessary to carry out initiatives for student recruitment, admissions, and retention. This includes the maintenance of collateral material targeted to prospective students, assisting with admissions policy updates and coordinating recruiting/admission events.
Treasurer/Finance Committee: The Treasurer performs analysis on both the financial statements and financial activity of SPCS. The findings are presented at each SAC meeting. Additionally, participation in the preparation of the annual school budget is required.
Home and School Committee: Home and School Chairperson coordinates activities that provide school families opportunities to interact both socially and constructively with school staff. These activities include but are not limited to the planning of the School Open House, Grandparents Day, Catholic Schools Week and Teacher Appreciation week.
Publicity Committee: Publicity Chairperson coordinates the advertising of the school’s image, school events, updates on school successes and the distribution of school marketing materials to the media, current school families and prospective school families. This also includes the identification of technology based advertising platforms.
Technology Committee: Technology Chairperson coordinates with the school staff on
activities and/or needs related to the computer lab, school web site (content and design), and any other technology based items. This includes providing assistance in identifying hardware or software upgrades/updates while simultaneously maintaining balance between the quality of the school’s technology and the associated costs.
Fundraising Committee: Fundraising Chairperson facilitates the coordination of all general fundraising events for SPCS. This includes interaction and communication with specific event leaders, identifying new fundraising opportunities and reporting to the SAC both progress and results of fundraising activity.
Building and Grounds Committee: Building and Grounds Chairperson coordinates with the Pastor, Principal, Facilities Manager and
Athletic Committee: Athletic Chairperson coordinates communication and interaction between the Athletic committee and the SAC regarding SPCS athletics. This includes all items that concern student athletes, coaches, potential sport participation expansion, athletic facilities and any other athletic related topics that potentially have impact on SPCS.

The SAC is made up of the Pastor, the Principal, and parents. The parents are selected through an application/nomination process held in early spring. Current SAC members preside over the selection process.
